If, after several years of warmongering and attacks on civil rights and human dignity, a government and its president have still failed to convince some people of their hostile intentions, creating a "war czar" post should convince the rest. It should, but it won't. Political delusions often seem to be particularly strong. I am very sad about what has happened to this once-great nation.
