Please Note: My personal journal is now fully independent of my main personal Web site, but I am still working on some things such as my new page designs and many improvements to PageDrive, my software that runs my journal site. Tonight I opened my mail and discovered a notice from the property management company for my apartment complex that they are raising my rent by $75, so now instead of struggling to come up with $1,100 to line the pockets of opportunistic necessity oligopolists every month while I dig myself deeper into debt just to keep living indoors and eating regularly, I will be struggling to come up with $1,175 to line the pockets of opportunistic necessity oligopolists every month while I dig myself deeper into debt just to keep living indoors and eating regularly. It is the same kind of bullshit, but there is more of it, so the smell is a bit stronger.
I am already living in one of the least expensive decent apartments in the area because I cannot afford to live anywhere that is actually nice, but even less expensive apartments around here are still pretty expensive and I cannot afford both rent and a new deposit. I am so screwed.
