Please Note: My personal journal is now fully independent of my main personal Web site, but I am still working on some things such as my new page designs and many improvements to PageDrive, my software that runs my journal site. If you encounter any technical problems, please either just try again a while later or let me know.
Milla has a thing for fans. Sometimes, she turns my Vornado floor fan (model CR1-0030, type 280SS) on or off or up or down despite the fact that it is dial-operated rather than button-operated. It can be both impressive an concerning. More concerning are her interest in the spinning blades within and her habit of climbing on top of the fan.
A few times lately, while using my main computer, I have heard the unmistakable sound of something hitting and slowing one of its internal fans, which are freely accessible from one side of the case partly because I am not fond of how the case door presses against my hard drive's Serial ATA and power cables, but mostly because I never got around to tidying up the various cables and wires inside of the case after building the system. I still need to do that, but now I need to dust too.
Upon hearing these recent fan disturbances, quick looks at the other side of the computer have revealed a guilty-looking cat, who usually runs upon discovery. This morning, though, she just sat there looking at me with one paw resting on my video card.
Since Milla seems so fond of computer parts, perhaps I could train her to work on them.
