I fucking hate Windows. I hate Windows Vista; I hate Windows XP; I hate every other version of Windows. I also hate Mac OS X, GNU/Linux (especially Ubuntu 8.10), and every other computer operating system I have ever seen, but above all others, I hate Windows.
My main computer has been crashing all day today and all day yesterday. I have uninstalled recent software (I hate VMware Player too!) and even older software and reverted to a recent restore point, but the system still seems very unstable. Perhaps there is a hardware problem, but either way, Windows Vista is not handling things well.
It looks as though circumstances are forcing me to start using my new MacBook as my main computer. Ugh. It may look lovely in aluminum, but it sports a washed-out, low-resolution display that is not particularly well-suited to Web or Flash work or otherwise being looked at in general. Really, the new MacBook displays are just hideous, especially for the prices of the systems that are stuck with them. And the new video output port is not used by any of my external displays—not even my Apple Cinema Display—so I'll need to buy a thirty fucking dollar adapter then I'll need to stay in one place to get decent-looking video from my horribly overpriced new notebook. Fucking MacBook! Fucking Windows! Fucking Steves!
