Please Note: My personal journal is now fully independent of my main personal Web site, but I am still working on some things such as my new page designs and many improvements to PageDrive, my software that runs my journal site. If you encounter any technical problems, please either just try again a while later or let me know.
Brian by Starlight is my personal journal (or "blog" if you prefer). It is a casual chronicle of my observations and thoughts about both my personal life and issues of public concern, intended primarily for myself and those who know me, but you are welcome to read it whether you know me or not.
You are also welcome to contact me regarding what I have written here, but please remember that my journal is only a personal journal, not a professional news outlet or a manifesto. Please take it for what it is—a series of honest, straightforward, and uncensored personal writings—and try to resist getting all worked up if you disagree with something. My general rule for civil Internet discourse applies:
Think before responding.
That said, feel free to read away if you are still so inclined.
My name is Brian Sexton. I usually work as a software developer (mostly PHP, MySQL, and Flash/ActionScript projects, currently on a freelance basis) and I develop some of my own software in my personal time, but I am also a visual artist, a writer, and a university student (when my work schedule and finances both allow). Like my parents before me, I was raised right here in Silicon Valley.
My main personal Web site can be found at http://www.briansexton.com/.
